Who controls your data
stars.guide is the controller for information processed through this service. Privacy questions and data-rights requests can be sent to oracle@stars.guide.
Why we process information
We process account and product information to provide the service you request, secure it, meet legal obligations, and support features you explicitly choose. Optional advertising measurement is based on your consent and remains off until you accept it.
Optional advertising measurement
When marketing consent is active and our own payment or subscription records confirm an outcome, we may report only one of three events: Purchase, Subscribe, or Start Trial.
The allowed payload is limited to the event type, an opaque deduplication ID, timestamp, purchase value and currency when relevant, and that provider’s consented click identifier when available. We do not send your name, email, phone, IP address, full user agent, account ID, date of birth, address, page URL, astrology data, journal content, Oracle questions, or personalized content.
Advertising recipients
Depending on the click identifier and configuration, minimal conversions may be sent server-to-server to Meta, Google Ads through Google’s Data Manager API, or TikTok Events API. Google receives ad-user-data consent as granted and ad-personalization consent as denied. These providers may process data outside your country under their own legal and transfer frameworks.
Retention and consent evidence
- Advertising click identifiers expire after 90 days and are deleted immediately when marketing consent is withdrawn.
- Conversion delivery jobs and provider response metadata are retained for up to 90 days for deduplication and reliability.
- Consent decisions record the policy version, yes/no choice, time, user, and interface source so we can demonstrate and honor the decision.
Your choices and rights
You can withdraw marketing consent at any time through Cookie Settings. Depending on applicable law, you may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing, and lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority. What this notice does not replace
Specific product features can show additional notices where their data use is distinct—for example, Oracle memory or email subscriptions. Consent for advertising never implies consent for those purposes, and their consent never enables advertising.
