The two choices
Necessary storage is always enabled because it is required to operate the service and remember your privacy choice. Marketing is optional and disabled until you select Accept.
Our consent cookie
- Name:
sg_consent - Provider: stars.guide (first party)
- Values: the policy version and a yes/no marketing choice
- Lifetime: 180 days
- Purpose: to avoid asking on every visit and to enforce your choice
The cookie contains no name, email address, user ID, random visitor ID, or fingerprint.
Advertising click identifiers
Advertising links can include fbclid, gclid, gbraid, wbraid, or ttclid. Before marketing consent, stars.guide does not persist them. After consent, a signed-in user’s identifier may be stored in our application database for up to 90 days so a later trial or purchase can be attributed. The identifier is removed when consent is rejected or withdrawn.
We remove these parameters from the visible address after processing the choice. We do not create an advertising cookie in your browser.
No browser pixels
We do not load Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, the Google tag, TikTok Pixel, PostHog, or RudderStack—before or after consent. Marketing consent permits only minimal server-side conversion reporting described in our Privacy Policy.
Change your choice
Use Cookie Settings in the footer at any time. Rejecting stops future conversion reporting and deletes stored advertising click identifiers. It does not affect essential authentication or security storage.
